First level maintenance refers to small operations on the machinery such as: technical cleaning, inspections, lubrication, greasing, and others, which can be carried out by operators. This type of maintenance can be carried out only at the end of a training on the field conducted by a maintenance manager and provided as a part of a maintenance system implementation program according to the TPM model.
