Manpower or labor saving economy which is achieved by carrying out improvements to manual labor, through the addition of small machines or aid devices.
When designing or improving a production line this concept open up the possibility to adopt or build special devices that reduce labor. Doing so it will be possible to produce more with the same labor force or to produce the same with less labor force.
