Hoshin‐Kanri: The translation most widely used of the Japanese term Hoshin Kanri is Policy Deployment (see this definition).
Policy Deployment is the system which makes it possible to make sure of the correct deployment of the company’s objectives at each hierarchical level including the participation of all of the employees.
This means that:
We are certain we can meet them.
We can create a culture based on Gemba.
We can obtain a true added value starting with the abilities of the personnel.
The supervisors play a key role in this process:
Understanding and taking on the objectives of the company.
Sharing these objectives through the workshops and the services
Applying and following their objectives in a visual way.
